Newzik PWP is the only platform allowing a publisher to secure his content with the following restrictions of use, which are all to be agreed on directly with the client before sending the piece :
- Type of contract: If the contract is a “Sale”, the only restriction will be the number of authorized users.
- Expiration date: on the date of expiration of the rights to the Content, the Client no longer has access to the Content as distributed by the publisher. The Client will have access to a degraded version (cf screenshot), which he can only use to know the Annotations he has made on the Contents;
- Authorized Users: the number of Authorized Users set by the publisher on the Content corresponds to the total number of NEWZIK users (holder of a NEWZIK account) who can view this Content on NEWZIK App and NEWZIK Web, including the Client himself and the other Newzik users with whom the Client may share the Content via a Newzik Project. Any additional person to whom the Content would be shared will have access to a degraded version of the Content with a watermark covering the Content.
- Allow printing: By default, the export of Content outside NEWZIK App and NEWZIK Web is prohibited and technically blocked for the Client. The publisher may authorize the export of the Content of its choice for the Clients. By authorizing printing, the unblocking is automated, and the Content can leave the NEWZIK environment. As such and from that point on, Newzik cannot guarantee further compliance with the Restrictions.
The publisher is sole responsible for the Restrictions it sets on the distribution of the Content through NEWZIK. The Restrictions provided for are reflected directly in the NEWZIK Application or the NEWZIK Web interface of the Client.
And for full flexibility, you can modify all the restrictions afterwards, in an existing contract!
